Twin Cities funding in 2009 on programs and initiatives
to relieve poverty, including emergency assistance as
well as longer-term poverty reduction.

trust agreement as written by Otto Bremer for communities in Minnesota, North Dakota, and
northwestern Wisconsin.

Bremer Emergency Fund
Thank you to all who applied for Emergency Fund grants. We received more than 260 proposals totaling $18.5 million,
a response that indicates the extent of community concerns for how families and individuals are faring amidst
the current economic challenges. Eighty-one organizations are receiving one-year Emergency Fund grants
totaling $4.2 million.
